Top 10 Travel Destinations on My Bucket List

Greetings to all! I go by the name Misael, hailing from Ethiopia with excellent pride. Despite investing my whole 28 years in the sensational landscapes of Ethiopia, I am feeling an intense desire to explore the past. I am picturing locations outside of our nation, positions that I have only glimpsed via screens or read about from fellow travelers. Today, I am thrilled to expose to you the 10 destinations that have sparked my interest– locations I intend to discover, document on my blog and share via vlogs. Let us start this dream trip with each other.

1. Paris, France – The City of Light Awaits!

Paris France

Ah, Paris! My top must-visit destination. Why, you ask? Imagine standing before the Eiffel Tower, that legendary icon of love and art, or roaming via the Louvre, welcoming the Mona Lisa with your own eyes. The streets of Paris are like blood vessels full of rich backgrounds, styles, and food that can make any person’s heart skip a beat. I dream of drinking coffee at a street-side coffee shop, enjoying the bustling city life, and possibly, simply, finding myself in one of those enchanting film scenes we all covertly want.

2. Tokyo, Japan – A Blend of the Ultra-Modern and Traditional

Tokyo Japan

Tokyo is a city that effortlessly combines the past and the here and now. As you venture into this dynamic city, you’re right away struck by a kaleidoscope of sensations. The dazzling glow of neon lights, the imposing presence of smooth high-rises, and the mad power of its occupants exist side-by-side with the peaceful atmosphere of old temples, peaceful yards, and the adored custom-made of a past age. I’m delighted to browse the crazy roads of Shibuya, among the globe’s most overloaded junctions, and after that look for relief in the relaxing environments of the Meiji Shrine. Tokyo has something for everybody.

3. Cairo, Egypt – Walking Through Living History

Cairo, Egypt

As an African, how could I not be attracted to Egypt? Cairo, the heart of this old land, is a treasure trove of background. From the Pyramids of Giza to the Sphinx, these building wonders aren’t simply stone frameworks but an entrance to our ancestors’ lives. I anticipate drifting down the Nile, checking out busy fairs, and feeling the pulse of the globe’s earliest civilizations

4. New York City, USA – The City That Never Sleeps

New York City, USA

The plain reference of New York City thrills me to the core. I imagine myself bordered by the looming skyscrapers, exploring the distinct personality of each area, and feeding off the infectious energy of its residents. With famous tourist attractions like Broadway productions, relaxing Central Park, vivid Times Square, and the impressive Sculpture of Freedom, I’m ready to take in every aspect of the city. NYC shows an aura of limitless opportunities, where aspirations are born, and maybe, I’ll discover my aspirations reviving amidst its busy streets.

5. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – The City of Samba and Sun

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio de Janeiro is a city renowned for its dynamic society, magnificent beaches, and the pulsating beats of samba. I long to dance at the Carnival, one of the biggest celebrations in the world, and ascend the Sugarloaf Mountain for scenic sights of the coastline. Copacabana and Ipanema coastlines await my footprints. Rio, with its dramatic landscapes and perky locals, promises a jubilant getaway.

6. Venice, Italy – The Romance of the Canals

 Venice, Italy

Rio de Janeiro is a city renowned for its dynamic society, magnificent beaches, and the pulsating beats of samba. I long to dance at the Carnival, one of the biggest celebrations in the world, and ascend the Sugarloaf Mountain for scenic sights of the coastline. 7. Cape Town, South Africa – A Gem at the Tip of Africa

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Community in South Africa is a fascinating located at the southern tip of the continent. It offers a remarkable mix of societies, terrains, and historical narratives. The legendary Table Hill, the considerable Robben Island, and huge vineyards produce an attractive ambiance. Exploring this area promises an opportunity to experience a unique aspect of Africa and witness the vibrant expression of variety in this fusion of the south.

8. Sydney, Australia – Harbor City Down Under

 Sydney, Australia

This vivid metropolis flaunts a selection of attractions, from the world-renowned Sydney Opera House to the stunning Blue Mountains. I picture myself catching waves at Bondi Beach or taking a leisurely cruise through the flashing harbor. The city’s distinct blend of Aussie wild animals and cozy hospitality just adds to its allure, making it a tempting location.

9. Istanbul, Turkey – Where East Meets West

Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul, a city straddling two continents, is a blend of Europe and Asia. The historic Blue Mosque, the grand expositions, and Turkish delights– literal and metaphorical– are what I eagerly anticipate. It’s an area where you can witness the blend of societies, faiths, and backgrounds, all existing side-by-side perfectly

10. Mumbai, India – The City of Dreams

Mumbai, India

Last but not least, Mumbai. India’s financial, commercial, and entertainment capital is famed for Bollywood, street food, and the Gateway of India. What pulls me towards Mumbai is its dynamic mix of chaos and charm, wealth and want, modernity and tradition.
